
- Overall responsibility for the operational delivery of events
- Recruit, mentor, manage & develop direct reports & wider team members within EMEA Operations Team
- Lead meetings with venues, current and potential suppliers to determine scope of services required by the company and negotiate best price alongside the head office procurement function
- Active role in all tendering processes
- Creation, management and implementation of internal and external Service Level Agreements with official contractors – in conjunction with procurement and legal teams as part of overall operational contract management
- Liaising with Head office Legal team on contract management details
- Budget setting, management and overall accountability for Operational lines in budgets
- Initiate, maintain and deliver projects, procedures and processes to continually improve & standardise the quality of operational delivery across EMEA
- Working in collaboration with the Group Health, Safety and Sustainability Manager and H&S advisor reviewing current health and safety practices so to implement best practice and continuous improvement initiatives successfully across EMEA
- Post event KPI reporting and analysis with ability to set objectives for team members to improve on service delivery YOY
- Comply with EMEA’s Sustainability Policy, and actively contribute to the commitment to sustainability, working with the Sustainability Manager to set Operations team member specific objectives.
